Gunung Nuang

Chemperoh Waterfall

Gunung Nuang is a mountain straddling the border of Pahang and Selangor, a popular trekking route for visitors hoping to conquer its summit that stands at 1,493 meters high. Janda Baik is one of three main climbing routes to the peak, the other two being Pangsun (Ulu Langat) and Kemensah (Gombak, Kuala Lumpur). To reach the jungle trail, visitors need to drive through Janda Baik to its end at the farmlands, then follow a dirt track (about an hour) that leads through the countryside until the forest edge is reached. From here, a climb to the peak takes roughly two to three hours, passing by the beautiful Lata Chemperoh waterfall along the way.
